This video recording includes the description of what formative and summative forms of assessment are. It also includes a discussion of the similarities between these 2 forms of assessment. Session facilitators demonstrate one of the ways to create a SINGLE POINT RUBRIC considering the organizing ideas and KUSPS from the New Alberta Curriculum.
Provided in this short video are examples for Grade 2 Writing and Grade 5 Summarization. Also included is a template for teachers to create their own rubrics.
