A group of Grade 1 teachers from Edmonton Public Schools with a high number of students at-risk for literacy difficulties participated in the Language and Literacy pilot project with Speech Language Pathology, Reading and English as a Second Language consultants from Inclusive Learning. Four videos were created to showcase embedded strategies in the areas of oral language, vocabulary, phonological awareness and reciprocal teaching.
