About this Resource
Choice Boards or learning menus provide a structure for student choice when completing learning tasks. This graphic organizer can be low-tech or full tech and allows for natural differentiation of instruction for your students. Choice boards can offer practice and reinforcement of concepts and skills taught in class (homework, in-class practice, online learning environments) or choice to show what they know (assessment). Like all tools we introduce to our students, time should be taken to ensure students understand and know how to use each part of the choice board before independent use.
This resource offers tips for building choice boards, suggestions for additional resources, and sample choice boards for inspiration.
