About this Resource
What It Means to Think Like a Scientist. We will explore the core habits of mind that define scientific thinking—curiosity, evidence-based reasoning, and reflection. Teachers will reflect on how to bring these mindsets into their classrooms and foster them in students through intentional practice and classroom routines. We will re-examine our science curriculum from a scientist’s perspective. What questions would a scientist ask? What problems would they investigate? We will explore ways to re-frame concepts to emphasize inquiry, relevance, and real-world connections.
