A FEW THINGS
You will notice that MEMOIR is listed with Grade 4 below. In the curriculum, it references autobiography as the genre to explore. As there are very few texts in this genre created for Grade 4 students, we feel that you could explain the difference between autobiography (the whole life of the writer) and memoir (a memory or moment from their life) and then dig further into one or more of these texts.
TRICKSTER TALES are mentioned in the Oral Language organizing idea of ELAL 5.
